Completion of SAIA Industrial Scaffold Apprenticeship Training First Year and SAIA Industrial Scaffold Apprenticeship Training Second Year
SAIA Industrial Scaffold Apprenticeship Training Third Year – Journeyperson and Exam
This module is designed for scaffolders with 4800 hours of scaffolding experience and covers advanced theory including weight load math, advanced blue printing, and take-off techniques.
The practical includes a blueprinted scaffold including hangers and cantilevers. Third Year status is achieved after successful completion of the course and exam.
Classes begin at 8:30 a.m. It is mandatory to have a study binder for the exam level you are challenging.
Study binders can be purchased from METI administration office for $125.00 each. Professional Scaffold Erector status is achieved upon completion of Third Year level.
