SAIA First Year Scaffold Erector Course and Exam
This module is designed for scaffolders with 1600 hours of scaffolding experience and covers basic tools, hoisting and rigging, scaffolding math, and industry regulations and safety. It introduces students to the fundamentals of Frame Scaffolds, Tube and Clamp Scaffolds, and System Scaffolds. The major focus of this class is to heighten the student’s safety knowledge of materials and codes within your region. Classes begin at 8:30 a.m. It is mandatory to have a study binder for the exam level you are challenging. Study binders can be purchased from METI’s administration office for $125.00 each.
