Occupational Health & Safety Act, OH&S (NS) Training
You will review relevant elements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act while discussing the standards that should be followed for creating a safe and healthy work environment.
Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS)
You will have this pre-entry requirement for many construction industry work sites.
Fall Protection (NS) Training
Train in the use of fall protection systems, including fall arrest and fall restraint. Learn to manage the risks of working at heights and assess and control hazards related to working at heights.

Energy Safety Canada (ESC) Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

H2S Alive Energy Safety Canada (ESC)
This course aims to provide all who could be exposed to Hydrogen Sulfide Gas (H2S) the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to H2S emergencies. Areas of study will include H2S Properties; Initial Response Strategy; Respiratory Protective Equipment; Detection of H2S; Rescue Techniques; Case Studies.

Understand the role a Scaffolder has in the construction industry; terminology, legislation, equipment handling, the stability of a scaffold and its support for various ground conditions. Learn to identify and build basic types and styles of platforms and the usage of these components.
Frame Scaffolds
Recognize and identify Frame Scaffold components and their usage, determine their compatibility of various Frame Scaffolds; learn to erect a frame scaffold structure and the safety regulations associated with them.
Tube & Coupler Scaffolds
Recognize and identify Tube & Coupler Scaffold components and their usage; have the knowledge required to erect a Tube & Clamp scaffold structure and the safety regulations associated with them.
